Bill grew up in Southern California in a Christian home. Dad was in the US Navy so was gone a lot. At age 13, Bill was saved at a youth summer camp in Idyllwild, California and was active in his local church youth group and choir for many years. Called to full-time Christian service in 1973 to a flying relief organization, and then to Grace College and Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, where Bill had the opportunity to graduate with a BS in Business in 1978. Another move back to California n 1978 brought the opportunity to set up the accounting system for Tim LaHaye’s Christian Schools program n San Dego. Then a change in work direction in 1981 launched a 35 year career in local government at six different cities in three states ending up in Estacada in 2009. Retired now, Bill has more time to enjoy this area on his motorcycle when not busy helping with the accounting functions at EFBC.
Most of you probably know his wife Barbara who has stuck with him for 52 years. A daughter, Christi, lives in Boring with husband Jeff and five grandchildren, four of which still live at home. A son John went to be with the Lord at age 14 many years ago.
