Kids Club 2-5 yrs
Welcome to Kids Club!

What an exciting privilege to meet your child and spend time nurturing and teaching the Character of God and the relationship of Christ. This age group we begin the foundational truths that are taught from The Old and New Testament stories, in kid friendly settings led by fun loving volunteers.

Kingdom Crusadors K-4th Grade

Welcome Elementary ages!
As Ministry staff, not only are we teaching God’s truth through the Bible as a whole, but we are teaching the Crusaders to be biblically sound and culturally relevant. Their large group and small group time is designed to give these kids an opportunity to ask the hard questions, as they talk about how to live out what they are learning. Together we pray in an environment that is safe and ready to provide strong God centered answers.

AWANA - our Wednesday Night Kids Program

Ages 3 through 6th grade, Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
AWANA is designed to help kids memorize bible passages through fun games, time with friends, and lessons that encourage thoughtful discussions about biblical passages - all of which helps kids "hide God's word in their hearts" Visit the AWANA website, which is full of useful information for parents and leaders alike.

February 2010

Dear Families,

’I am amazed that we are already in the middle of February and I am wondering where the time has gone.  We look foreword to the changes of Spring.  Spring sports are already beginning and my bulbs of spring hope are poking their noses through the soil, C’mon Spring!!!   We, in Children’s Ministries also have some changes.  Please see the exciting news below.

A Children’s Security Check-in System has been implemented to co-inside with a Visual Paging System that has been installed in the Sanctuary and soon in the Foyer as well.  This system will allow families who have children in the classrooms to be visually paged by way of a system of coded numbers, when needed.  Here is a quick overview of what to expect when signing your child in:

  • All families have been assigned a permanent two-digit “Family Number.”  All of your children will have the same last two-digits.  This number is received on a Security Card given to you at the Sign-in Table.  On the back of the Security Card are instructions to follow for picking up your child and what to do if your number is paged.

  •    Each classroom has been assigned its own room number:

                              Nursery Room     = 1

                              Kid’s Club Room  = 2

                              Crusader’s Room = 3

                              Fellowship Hall     = 7

  • 214  ~ So If your “Family Number” is 14 and you have a child in the Kid’s Club Room #2,  the number that will show up on the visual paging system will be 214.  If you see your family’s number appear on the visual pager, your child or teacher is in need of your assistance, so please return to your child’s classroom.  The ushers and staff will be available to direct you to your child’s classroom.

  •   When “Picking up” your child from the classroom after service, you will need to submit your child’s Security Card to the classroom assistant before your child can be removed.  This added secure measure is needed to make sure your child does not leave with an unauthorized person.

Easy “Pick up” directions are printed on the back of every security card.

The page of instructions will be available at the “Sign-in” Table to assist you with the Check-in procedure.  Of course there also will be an assistant at the table to help you during sign-in time.

Thank you for the privilege of helping families’ disciple their children.
