EFBC Youth Discipleship exists to work with youth and families to make disciples of Jesus Christ in Estacada and the world!
Who & What ?
EFBC Youth Ministry focuses on students from 7th-12th grades. It is a time to be challenged, grow and be completely real in our relationship with Jesus Christ and His body, the church. On Wednesday evenings we begin with dinner and a hanging out with friends and family, after that we spend time in worship through singing and the Word of God. Worship is followed up with our small group time where we discuss different aspects of the teaching and how it applies to life. The last part of the evening is for those who want to stay a little longer; we have organized games, snacks, and time to hangout. Once a month we head out as a group to serve others, reach out with the Gospel and/or fellowship. During the week, there are also discipleship groups that meet at various times and are led by our youth leaders. We encourage your student(s) to grow with us, as works best with your family.

Pastor Scott Rotrock, leads Youth Ministries
Here at EFBC, I currently oversee the youth ministry for both Junior high and senior high school. My wife and I became saved and baptized in this church while attending youth group and after graduating high school, we remained on the leadership team for several years. So, stepping into this role just seems to fit as we both understand the importance youth ministry and the potential eternal impact it can have. I count it a privilege to serve alongside parents as they teach their children the gospel.
I met my wife Becky in high school and we got married in 2004. We reside in Estacada and have three wonderful children, Hunter, Kaitlyn and Gunner. When I have free time, which seems to be an extinct creature, I enjoy my family, ATV’s, hunting, shooting, archery, disc golf, and a good book. I recently finished the book Family Driven Faith by Voddie Baucham. It was great read with some insightful and challenging concepts. It has changed how my family worships together on a daily basis.
I was raised right here in Estacada. After graduating from high school in 2000, I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in health education with the intent on becoming a PE teacher, but God at times reveals His plans and they might be different, as was the case for me. I started working at Northwest Family Services in 2008 working with teens in the classroom. I eventually found my desire to strengthen families, to be my calling. I moved my focus into working with couples both married and premarital. I want to see families thrive, and the best way to do that is to support and encourage healthy Christ centered marriages.
